The ukulele really has the right attitude for playing show tunes from the 1920s, dontcha think? I actually learned to play the uke from a book my father had written by the guy who played uke and banjo in the Paul Whiteman Orchestra. This ditty was written in 1927 by Vincent Youmans (music) and Irving Caesar (lyrics). I consider it an anthem for codependency.
